Receiving a blessing

We are very happy here at St Mary’s to offer services of blessing after a civil partnership or marriage.The General Synod has recently given permission for incumbents to perform ceremonies of blessing after a civil same-sex marriage. Fr Andrew, our Vicar, is very inclusive and is personally supportive of same-sex marriages in church but the church currently does not permit this. He would however be delighted to bless EVERYONE who comes to him seeking God’s blessing after a marriage or civil partnership.
